Dear God

It is with an affable nature that I spare a grin,
to the man that I recognize as my twin.
Daunting the resemblance and yet so different,
an aid to chaos this dilemma has lent.
And still I embrace this brother of mine,
although he has created such a bind.
Heavens above strike me down I say,
let me go, do not make me pay.
This terrible price of living this life.
please oh god take away the strife.

  1. This is a poem that resonates and makes me sad. I am estranged from a sister… It may always be. Thanks for puttingy thoughts into your words.
