Teardrop

I wipe emotion from my eyes.

And watch it dry inside.

A teardrop never lies.

As it slowly melts and dies.

There’s a tremble in disguise.

And slowly I surmise.

That love never really sighs.

It just blossoms in the sky.

  1. I used to follow your other blog but under a different name and quite some time ago. Glad to read your poetry again. Regards from London

I’ve had my 2 shots for the year. I understand we need to get them again in a year’s time. Perhaps this is going to be a new way of life for us. Have no major complaints for being 94 years old now. A few little things here and there, but still able to wobble around. It’s astonishing to live in a world straight out of of science fiction story. Keep safe.

  3. How are you doing in these parlous times? Are you and your family keeping safe?
